Thomson Reuters Elite Announces 3E Matter Pricing and first 3E Cloud Customer at VANTAGE 2018 Worldwide Conference
The more than 1000 Elite customers helped kick off the VANTAGE Worldwide conference today at the morning keynote session where Eric Ruud, Elite’s managing director, announced the launch of 3E Matter Pricing, and the first Elite 3E Cloud customer go live.
3E® Matter Pricing is a new suite of tools which provides firms with valuable insights to enable matter pricing and budgeting while increasing profitability and revenue. As Ruud explained to the customers in attendance, 3E Matter Pricing is a key component of the business’s future vision and product roadmap to connect the practice and business of law.
“The true billable hour is a thing of the past. Clients want predictability and that requires law firms to understand like never before how much it will cost to take on a new matter for them to win the business and still remain profitable. It is essential for firms to bridge this information gap with rich firm data and metrics so they can apply accurate models,” said Ruud. “3E Matter Pricing is an easily adoptable and sophisticated technology solution for law firms, and the first step in supporting front-to-back, practice and business of law demands.”
In addition, Elisabet Hardy, Elite’s vice president of Product Management, and Eric Sugden, its CTO, explained that while Elite announced 3E in the Cloud at the 2017 VANTAGE Conference, they are happy to update customers today with the news that the first 3E in the Cloud customer – Gordon, Arata, Montgomery, Barnett, McCollam, Duplantis & Eagan, LLC based in New Orleans – has now gone live in just six months, and two weeks ahead of schedule. Serving as the pilot site for the development of 3E as a cloud-based offering, the firm is the first to utilize the market-leading enterprise business management solution in the cloud to track and manage workflow, reporting, and analytics to improve law firm efficiency and increase profitability.
