It’s been quite a year for WestlawNext and the WestlawNext iPad app, both of which continue to add new functionality, as well as gather industry awards and acclaim.

The  latest enhancements to the iPad app help the user while working offline — an important consideration given the  tremendous mobility & portability that the tablet format provides.

The app lets users save and view documents, including notes and highlights, in offline folders. Researchers can continue their analysis, even when they don’t have an Internet connection. When a connection is re-established, work done offline is automatically synchronized with the online application.

The ability to have access to legal research even in the absence of a cellular broadband or Wi-Fi connection takes legal research to a whole new level, and helps researchers to be more efficient in doing client work anywhere, anytime.
