Thomson Reuters recognized as Stevie Award winner at the 2014 American Business Awards
The Tax & Accounting business and Legal Business of Thomson Reuters have been recognized as winners of three 2014 American Business Awards, also known as the Stevie Awards.
Checkpoint Pocket Assistant received a People’s Choice Award in the category of New Product or Service of the Year – Software – Financial Management Solution, Elite Business Development Premier received a silver Stevie Award for Marketing Campaign of the Year – Software, and Tobias Lee, chief marketing officer for the Tax & Accounting business, received a bronze Stevie Award for Marketing Executive of the Year.
The Stevie Awards were presented during the 12th Annual American Business Awards ceremonies in San Francisco on September 12 and Chicago on June 13.
Checkpoint Pocket Assistant launched in July 2013. It is a free app that allows users of Thomson Reuters Checkpoint, the industry-leading online research solution, to access in-depth tax and accounting information directly on their mobile devices.
Elite Business Development Premier, which became available in June 2014, is the first technology that drives successful law firm marketing and business development initiatives by eliminating data entry, pushing real-time client insights to mobile devices, and automating activities for faster implementation and faster ROI.
Since joining Thomson Reuters in 2012, Lee has developed a data-driven approach to marketing that is significantly adding value to the Tax & Accounting business sales funnel. He also has instituted a customer experience function and focus into the company while helping to streamline the brand across multiple properties — notably online through a consolidated website. A recent finalist as 2014 CMO of the Year for the DFW American Marketing Association and 2013 winner of the Leader of Excellence Award by the National Association of Asian American Professionals, Lee manages a team of 100 people across the world.
