Thomson Reuters ProView eReader app launches in US
eReaders are all the rage these days, but until now, there hasn’t been an eReader app that was built from the ground up for professional use.
Thomson Reuters ProView eReader app for the iPad is now available at the Westlaw Store. ProView has professional-grade features including:
– Full-text search using the same Boolean search technology that powers Westlaw and WestlawNext
– Notes and annotations which are stored securely
– Uniform user experience that accurately displays complex content such as tables. Other eReader applications have to deal with multiple file formats and may not consistently render some important information correctly, such as tables.
– Content that easily updates as new editions and updates become available. In addition, users’ notes and annotations can be transferred to the updated versions.
Initial titles for the U.S. market include court rules for NY, TX, IL, FL and OH. In addition, free sample titles are available for ProView.
