Thomson Reuters leaders celebrates technology education in the Twin Cities
At a ceremony earlier this month, Thomson Reuters joined several Minneapolis-St. Paul area businesses to celebrate Prime Digital Academy, a school that will train entry-level software engineers in the Twin Cities area. Thomson Reuters is a supporter of the project, reinforcing the company’s commitment to educating tomorrow’s workforce for technology jobs in the future.
Lisa Schlosser, chief technology officer with FindLaw, spoke to those in attendance.
“As a board member of the Minnesota High Tech Association, our mission is to fuel Minnesota’s prosperity through technology innovation,” she noted. “Our goal is to make Minnesota one of the country’s top five technology states.”
This marks Thomson Reuters continued commitment to supporting high-tech education in the communities where our employees work and live, which includes coding classes for employee’s children, and support of the annual Grace Hopper Celebration of Women In Computing Conference.
