Thomson Reuters announced it will host the 17th annual Law Firm Leaders Forum, taking place Nov. 15-16, 2012, in San Francisco.

Following one of the most anticipated United States general elections in recent history, keynote speaker Joe Scarborough, co-host of MSNBC’s Morning Joe and a former four-term Congressman, will share his thoughts on the results of the presidential election and what he views as the implications for political issues moving forward in the U.S. and globally.

“The 17th meeting of the Law Firm Leaders Forum will convene just nine days after one of the most important presidential elections in U.S. history,” said Ralph Baxter, chairman and CEO, Orrick and co-chair of the event. “Joe Scarborough, host of the highly acclaimed MSNBC program Morning Joe, will keynote this year’s program and share his thoughts about the ramifications of the election, including its impact on law firms and their clients.”

The forum will provide insight on how global economics and politics are impacting the legal industry including such topics as: capitalization; pricing pressures; the global economy; firm dissolutions; talent development and performance; and more. The forum will showcase a mix of panel discussions and presentations offering an interactive setting to promote the exchange of ideas among law firm leaders.
