Two Thomson Reuters products, GRM Insight, a solution offered through Tax & Accounting’s Government segment that helps to identify property tax fraud, and CLEAR’s public records investigative platform offered through Legal’s Government segment, recently collaborated to expose millions of dollars in property tax fraud.

With the integration of data from CLEAR, local governments are better able to research suspicious property tax exemptions and improve cash flow by collecting unpaid taxes, penalties and interest with each discovered fraudulent case.

By using the new software program, investigators are increasing their ability to quickly and accurately detect illegal exemptions by mining and analyzing multiple databases nationwide.
