Thomson Reuters Concourse adds Practical Law, powerful new technology enhancements
Thomson Reuters Concourse announced today its newly integrated components: Practical Law, Integrated Search using WestlawNext, and Bulk Contact Manager.
The addition of Practical Law provides Thomson Reuters Concourse users with access to the full Practical Law library, including Practice Notes, Standard Documents and Clauses, Checklists and more, all created by attorney editors who are experts in their practice area. In Concourse, Practical Law content can be accessed through WestlawNext or via the dashboard.
Integrated Search enables the query to include results of all relevant matters within Concourse alongside the comprehensive results from WestlawNext. Whether searching from the Concourse dashboard or WestlawNext, the search brings together all the relevant content from across multiple systems – individual work product, legal department exemplars, relevant legal research, and know-how from Practical Law.
Through Bulk Contact Manager, users can upload numerous contacts quickly, easily and accurately, and validate the information with their human resource system to ensure accuracy. The system automatically generates reports during the update process allowing for changes to be reviewed and verified.
In the video clip below, James Jarvis, senior director of Product Development at Thomson Reuters, goes into greater detail on these newly integrated components and how they can benefit customers.
