As emerging markets evolve, companies often rely on third parties to sustain and increase their positions in those markets. Regulators have started to focus on these relationships, causing compliance officers and legal departments to do the same.

Natasha Wyss, senior vice president of Global Business Compliance for Thomson Reuters, participated on a panel that discussed third-party compliance at the Association of Corporate Counsel annual meeting, along with Deanna Slocum, senior director, Ethics & Compliance Program with VMware, and Joe Zier, partner, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP.

Wyss spoke with Legal Current recapping the session.
