Thomson Reuters is offering a free Russia Sanctions and Related Considerations Toolkit on Practical Law that includes a collection of resources across jurisdictions focused on sanctions and business interruptions caused by the situation in Ukraine.

The toolkit is a collection of practice notes, standard documents and clauses, checklists, trackers, and other resources covering a range of topics applicable to legal professionals located in the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. It offers a guide for areas including crisis management, cybersecurity, employment, financial services, insurance, oil and gas, and supply chain disruptions, among others.

As with all Practical Law toolkits, access is free. For U.S. and UK Legal Updates related to recent sanctions imposed on Russia, Practical Law is offering free access, but access to other resources in the toolkit are based on a user’s subscription.

The toolkit aligns with the Thomson Reuters Trust Principles, which obligate the company and its employees to act at all times with integrity, independence, and freedom from bias.

Blogger Jean O’Grady highlighted the toolkit, and noted the similar approach taken to free legal resources during the pandemic: “Early in the COVID crisis legal publishers had one of their ‘finest hours’ by putting together valuable content to help the legal community navigate the statutory, regulatory, social and business disruptions brought on by COVID.”

Users can access the toolkit from the Practical Law home page or by typing “Russia Sanctions Toolkit” in the search bar.
