MIA commissions crop art on Thomson Reuters Eagan campus field, inspired by Van Gogh
Thomson Reuters is sharing a field on its Eagan, MN campus with the Minneapolis Institute of Arts (MIA) in celebration of the museum’s 100th anniversary. The field will be the home of a planted version of the beloved van Gogh’s “Olive Trees” painting, created by renowned crop artist Stan Herd.
Planting began this spring and the final piece will reveal itself in early fall. MIA chose the field specifically so that the growing art can be seen from many flights coming and going from the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport.
So if you spot it, snap a pic and share it with #BDayMIA #vangrow!
