March 8 #ChoosetoChallenge Webinar: An International Women’s Day Event
The Thomson Reuters Transforming Women’s Leadership in the Law (TWLL) program is hosting a webinar, “Choose to Challenge: Accelerating Opportunities Towards Achieving Equality” in honor of International Women’s Day on March 8.
A panel of industry leaders will explore how the legal market quickly adjusted to confront the uncertainties of the pandemic, which in turn forced the scales of work-life balance for professionals to tip precariously. Following the “Choose to Challenge” theme of this year’s International Women’s Day, panelists will discuss how the pandemic has affected legal industry professionals and what organizations can do to help challenge inequalities while building the supports and services their professionals need to be successful in stressful times.
Axel Threlfall, Reuters editor-at-large, will moderate the discussion. Panelists include:
- Stephanie Boyce, vice president of The Law Society of England and Wales
- The Honorable Peter M. Reyes Jr., judge on the Minnesota Court of Appeals
- Natalie Runyon, director of Enterprise Content, Talent, Inclusion & Culture at Thomson Reuters
- Rosemary Martin, general counsel and company secretary at Vodafone
