Thomson Reuters was honored to recently be featured on the “Good Company” segment of KSTP-TV’s Twin Cities Live.

Reporter Kelli Hanson stopped by for a tour of our Minneapolis-St. Paul campus to learn more about the business, the amenities available to employees as well as the history of the company. She spoke with Tonya Custis, senior director of Research, who discussed the Legal business’s focus on technology and AI.

Custis also explained how the company’s history dates back to 1872, noting the West Publishing legacy continues today as Thomson Reuters remains one of the top 10 book manufacturers in North America.

In addition, Custis described several employee amenities, including access to emergency child care and the ability to renew license tabs on-site. Hanson toured the campus to get a better sense for many of the employee amenities offered.

The tour showcased the Wellbeing Health Center; the exercise space; At Your Convenience; the recreation room where employees can play foosball, ping pong, pool and darts; and the library and collaborative meeting spaces, among other areas. Additional amenities, such as the company providing free fruit on Tuesdays, and the food trucks in the summer, were highlighted as well.

It was a pleasure sharing all of the wonderful things about Thomson Reuters – past and present – with Twin Cities Live. Watch the segment at http://www.twincitieslive.com/fun/5180/good-company-thomson-reuters/.
