InsideLegal survey
Owing to the ongoing focus on budgets and cost management, we set out to understand more about technology spending in law firms. So, we talked with Jobst Elster, vice president of InsideLegal, about the 6th annual ILTA/InsideLegal Technology Purchasing survey.
The survey includes feedback from ILTA member law firms with 50 or more attorneys, and covers categories featured in previous years such as: detailed legal technology budget questions; updated information on firms’ social media preferences; an in-depth analysis of cloud computing; and sections on technology outsourcing and IT challenges. The 2011 survey has received a 17% response rate with 118 unique ILTA member firms completing the survey.
