In conducting proper due diligence in an M&A deal, information is key. Business Law Center on WestlawNext recently expanded both its coverage and functionality to broaden users’ reach in monitoring or researching deal activity.
Deal coverage in Business Law Center has been nearly doubled, now totaling more than 900,000 deals dating back to 1975. The expanded coverage includes non-SEC deals, providing exclusive M&A content not found anywhere else. In addition to U.S. deals, coverage of cross-border and non-U.S. deals has also been greatly expanded.
A redesigned search template both streamlines the information gathering process and provides more choices in selecting special deal attributes for finding specific deal examples.
The enhancements provide users with greater awareness of deal activity and broadens their reach when it comes to accessing deals of varying geographic locations and sizes – from mega deals to smaller standard deals.
