Nearly a quarter of Americans say they’ve experienced problems with their credit report, ranging from incorrect credit scores to inaccurate credit history information. A new FindLaw survey found that 23 percent of Americans have found a problem in their credit reports.

The good news is, the vast majority of people who found problems said that the issue was resolved after contacting the appropriate credit reporting agency. FindLaw offers tips on how to fix credit report problems.
