Elite 3E and Workspace users can now use the convenience of Amazon Alexa to enter and track billable hours.  Thomson Reuters Workspace Assistant, a new way for lawyers to access and perform time management functions via Workspace using Amazon® Echo® or other Alexa®-enabled devices.

Lawyers and timekeepers can input billable hours to a specific client matter, use a timer to calculate and post time spent on a given client matter, and even ask Alexa a variety of questions that relate to billable hours. The function is hosted by Elite, so while Alexa listens and interacts with time entry and reporting, everything is done within the firm’s security walls.

Workspace Assistant can be downloaded from the Amazon Alexa store. There is no fee to use it, and set up and configuration are simple.
