Exciting news out of Chicago today, as the American Bar Association (ABA) reached an agreement designating Thomson Reuters as the printer for the ABA’s books and journals. This entails printing and binding services for an expanding line of ABA titles, as well as the ABA’s established line of 13 journal publications. Printing and manufacturing services for the ABA’s publications will be performed at Thomson Reuters 1.3 million-square-foot manufacturing, distribution and engineering facilities in Eagan, Minn.

“Over the years, we’ve enjoyed a great relationship with the ABA and its various sections,” said Joe Kubes, director, Strategic Alliances, Thomson Reuters. “This agreement marks an expansion of that relationship into a broader area of printing collaboration. This new contract not only reinforces the value we provide as a publisher, but it also demonstrates our strong commitment to the ABA and its members.”

This new consolidated printing arrangement will allow the ABA to better manage the production and delivery of its books and journals. It will also capture significant cost savings for the ABA’s production of quality book and journal content.
