3E Roadmap: Product management team reviews the upcoming features
The 3E Roadmap session at Vantage Elite 2014 mainly covered version 2.7.2, which was released last week. Product demonstrations underscored a renewed focus on high-value features for clients, including the addition of a new alert notification engine (Notify) and 16 standard alerts which are easily configurable, the ability to control multiple payors’ rates for insurance billing, and strong technology investments like performance improvements, Active Directory integration, and enhancements to BizTalk loads.
The session also covered the upcoming 2.7.3 version, currently scheduled to release at the end of Q4. Plans for this release include the introduction of a new balancing methodology, additional performance improvements, and cost rate enhancements.
The 2014 releases reflect some common themes, which include focusing on 3E’s core financial applications, end-user usability, and system performance. Many of the investments being made in the product reflect not only value add for existing 3E customers, but are also intended to allow new customers to implement 3E more quickly in conjunction with the new “Express” services offering the company also announced at Vantage.
