SYNERGY 2020: Comedian James Corden to Host Thomson Reuters Conference
James Corden will host the Thomson Reuters SYNERGY annual user conference, which features Legal Tracker sessions for legal professionals on Nov. 11-13 and sessions for accounting and tax professionals on Nov. 10-13.
This year’s conference will take place virtually, and Corden will kick off the opening sessions of each conference track with recorded monologues. Corden will also share daily welcome messages and detail the programming participants can take advantage of beyond the educational sessions.
Among the Legal Tracker session highlights is the keynote address, which will focus on how legal departments can plan for the unpredictable by examining how spend and staffing trends are shifting and how legal departments can meet core objectives while delivering even more value.
Another conference highlight will be a session with Irene Liu, general counsel for Checkr. She will explore results of the Legal Tracker Legal Department Operations (LDO) Index Report and discuss trends in legal ops, spend management and legal tech. Additional sessions include Legal Tracker clients sharing how to use timekeeper rate data to drive cost savings, and initiatives that legal ops leaders should consider to make an impact on their business.

Additional offerings and activities include a virtual experience zone, virtual exhibit floor and virtual fitness classes. New this year is a preview track that provides access to select keynotes and exhibits for single attendees with no charge.
