Thomson Reuters announced last week that C-Track Case Management System (CMS) will serve as the official case management solution for the Superior Court of California, County of Sacramento. C-Track CMS, designed specifically for courts to capture, track, process and report their cases, enhances the courts capability to manage information, improving performance tracking and maximizing efficiency.

As everyone is being asked to do more with less, the courts are facing that same mandate. “The Sacramento Superior Court selected Thomson Reuters as its criminal case management vendor due to its superior technology and the flexibility of their solution to meet California’s complex and diverse criminal case management needs,” said Judge Laurie Earl of the Sacramento Superior Court. “This solution will enable Sacramento to enhance its criminal case processing by utilizing new technology and business processing to create a more efficient court and reduce duplicative work efforts.”

C-Track allows courts to efficiently manage caseloads and improve collaboration across other platforms, enabling them to operate more efficiently. The web-based software provides a flexible solution that operates in multiple platforms with open technology and integrates with multiple products to ensure a total and seamless workflow solution. This eliminates redundancies, while also increasing transparency and automating tasks associated with intricate court processes.

With its best-in-class solutions, Thomson Reuters Court Management Solutions integrates with document management and drafting, validation tools, legal search and workflow management resources, while providing interfaces to other justice agencies, offering a complete and fully streamlined court management solution. Through its market-leading customer service, courts receive system enhancements, statutory/legislation rule changes and unlimited free upgrades to the core C-Track software.
