At ILTACON 2019 last week, Thomson Reuters participated in six panels highlighting innovations and disruption in the legal space. This week, we’re catching up with presenters for their takeaways from their ILTACON sessions.

Today we hear from Jill Schornack, Thomson Reuters senior director of Product Management, and Nate Baker, Thomson Reuters global account executive for Panoramic, who presented A Bold New Vision for the Way Lawyers Work. Their overview of Panoramic covered how it was designed, how it works, industry pain-points it is intended to address, and who it will most benefit in the firm.

Their session included a real-time demonstration of Panoramic, with a look at dynamic Matter Maps resources; budget and work-plan building; customization; and integration with both firm and Thomson Reuters resources. Schornack shared three key takeaways from their session:

  • Panoramic is a bold, new legal workflow solution that enables firms to plan, manage and execute legal matters with data-driven confidence.
  • A cloud-based system, Panoramic is built on the strong foundation of Practical Law’s legal guidance and 3E’s market-leading financial management system.
  • With dynamic Matter Maps, embedded guidance and actionable insights such as budget-to-actuals, firms are able to predict profitability and provide better service and unprecedented transparency to their clients.
