Last week, the Codex FutureLaw 2017 Conference was held at Stanford Law School in California, where some 200 attendees gathered to discuss the impact of technology on the legal space. Thomson Reuters own David Curle, and noted legal journalist Monica Bay, were on-hand and shared some of what they saw with the Legal Executive Institute blog.

Curle described the event’s keynote from Prof. Gillian Hadfield from USC’s Gould School of Law, which included her insights on how to affect change in the legal industry (LINK HERE). While Bay sat down with James Sandman, president of Legal Services Corp, to discuss challenges to his organization and how technology serve as a light at the end of the tunnel.
