AALL Sneak Peek: How Thomson Reuters Will Connect With Customers in Chicago
Legaltech and legal information professionals are preparing to head to Chicago for the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) Annual Meeting & Conference, and Legal Current has a look at how Thomson Reuters will connect with customers there.
CoCounsel Drafting
The AALL event offers opportunities to learn about the latest legal product enhancements, including CoCounsel Drafting.
CoCounsel Drafting is an end-to-end drafting solution that streamlines and improves the drafting process for legal professionals within Microsoft Word, allowing users to easily and quickly move through the phases of contract creation. Launched earlier this week, the solution allows users to find the best starting point from their own databases or Practical Law templates, use content from Practical Law alongside their legal department’s or firm’s contract repository to draft or revise clauses, automate deviation analysis using Practical Law contract playbooks, and correct common drafting errors.
Innovation Theater and Sessions
Attendees can visit the Thomson Reuters Innovation Theater and booths – 107, 201, and 207 – for product demos as well as giveaways.
In addition, Thomson Reuters will host a Customer Appreciation Party at the Museum of Science and Industry in the heart of Chicago. Attendees can enjoy food and beverages offering tastes of Chicago neighborhoods as well as entertainment while visiting the museum.
Also, Thomson Reuters will host several sessions, including “Unleashing Innovation: A Rollercoaster Ride to Implement, Plan, and Fund Your GenAI Toolkit” on July 20. In addition, Rachel Beithon, senior product manager, Westlaw AI & Analytics, Thomson Reuters, and Valerie McConnell, senior director, CoCounsel, Thomson Reuters, will host “Summoning the Magic Words: Crafting Prompts to be an AI Wizard” and “Exhibitor Showcase: Revolutionizing Legal Research: CoCounsel – The AI Tool for Law Librarians” on July 21. They’ll host a repeat of the CoCounsel session on July 22.
AALL’s annual meeting offers attendees opportunities to gain insights into emerging trends, innovative strategies, and best practices, and Thomson Reuters is proud to again serve as a AALL sponsor.
