I am proud to gather with fellow law librarians next week at the AALL annual meeting in Seattle, as we do every year, to tap into a cumulative knowledge base and to acknowledge the successes – big and small – of the law librarian community.

This year, along with AALL, we will host the Thomson Reuters and AALL Member Appreciation Event on Monday, July 15 at the Experience Music Project (EMP) Museum. Located across the street from the Space Needle, the museum is an architectural spectacle that explores the development of popular culture and innovation through interactive exhibits that will surely make for a memorable evening.

The event will be the perfect opportunity to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones, share insights with one another, and discuss how we will approach another important year of serving our legal communities and our professions.

Thomson Reuters is also proud to host a booth at the Annual Meeting where we encourage people to visit and share thoughts about the newly launched WestlawNext Practitioner Insights, cloud-based Concourse, Hosted Practice Technologies, and other solutions.

As the Annual Meeting begins this Saturday, help us kick-start some productive conversations surrounding legal research and legal technology by sharing your thoughts and ideas below.
